How to grow sprouts workshops

We are very passionate about sprouts for many reasons. They are packed with vitamins and minerals, sometimes 10 times the amount than the seeds they sprout from. Possibly the greatest sprout of all is Alfalfa. Alfalfa means "The father of all foods" in the Arabic lanaguage and for good reason. Alfalfa contains all of the known vitamins and many minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, selenium and zinc. Alfalfa sprouts contain more protein than meat. Alfalfa is a known hormone balancer for women, is full of anti-oxidants and has been proven helpful for cancer.

Apart from all the amazing physical properties sprouts contain, they are also "Living Food" which means that are full of life energy or the vital force that sustains life, including us. A good friend of ours in London once remarked "This is like drinking life!" when we made him a smoothie with bananas and alfalfa sprouts. He was absolutely right

Sprouts are so easy to grow, the seeds, beans and pulses that they spring from are so readily available and cheap. They are amongst the most nutritious foods you can eat. We have taken it upon ourselves to educate people in the local region about the benefits of sprouts and to teach them how to grow them easily. There are some people in the region who scrape to feed their families here, let alone feed them nutritious food. With a little knowledge and the same or less money they could be producing sprouts and providing themselves and their families and friends with all the nutrition that they need. Surely this is one solution to world hunger. We hope so. Abundance for all.
